April 1st 2021 class scheduling update

Hello Students and parents, as most of you are aware there was an announcement to day by the Ontario government that will effect our in person class schedule for the next 4 weeks. If not, here is a quick excerpt from the Milton chamber of commerce.

“The Ontario government, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health and other health experts, is imposing a provincewide emergency brake as a result of an alarming surge  in case numbers and COVID-19 hospitalizations across the province. The provincewide emergency brake will be effective Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 12:01 a.m. and the government intends to keep this in place for at least four weeks.”

Classes

In person class registration has been temporarily removed from our booking schedule in the Student Portal. For every one already booked into todays classes, they will be able to attend as usual. If you have not booked in yet you will be required to book into the “Remote Classes” option.

I would also like to remind our members and their families that we are offering all our online workouts (not karate classes) for free during the month of April. There are both live and pre-recorded classes that star every hour. To gain access to these classes during April, all you need to do is download our partner app called MyZone from your app store. To gain your free month of access all you need to do is register with our Club ID when prompted “MAMCA001”, when asked for your Belt ID just enter the number 0, you can always change this later should you decide to purchase a compatible heart rate monitor and join the program. Please note the belt is not required to participate in the free trial.

April Workshops

For those of you who enrolled into any of the April workshop as an in person attendee, we will be moving your attendance to the online version. You can find the Zoom ID by logging into the Student Portal and viewing the online event details.

If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to us via e-mail or by using the contact us form on the website.
